This Criminal Petition under Section 482 of B.N.S.S., is filed by the petitioners herein seeking to grant anticipatory bail in the event of their arrest pursuant to the compliant dated 20.03.2025 made by Principal, SRR & CVR Government Degree College, Vijayawada.
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State. Perused the record.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that previously a suit in O.S.No.97 of 1973 was filed by the defacto complainant in respect of N.T.S. of 39 of Gunadala admeasuring Ac.6.53 cents and the same was dismissed. Aggrieved by the same, the defacto complainant
2 preferred an appeal in A.S.No.1159 of 1979 and the same was dismissed vide order dated 12.08.1987. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the police under the guise of complaint given by the defacto complainant, insisting the petitioners to attend the police station.
4. On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that no crime was registered against the petitioners herein so far, and the petitioners herein have not been arrayed as accused.
5. In view of the submissions made by both sides, and since no crime has been registered against the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. However, the police concerned are directed not to call the petitioners to the police station unless a crime is registered against them.
6. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
