Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the concerned authority for payment of leave encashment alongwith interest on such delayed payment of leave encashment. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner has placed reliance on judgment passed by this Court in Writ-A No.6297 of 2023, 'Gaya Prasad Vs. State of U.P. and Others' decided vide judgment and order dated 24.08.2023. 4. Since consideration of petitioners' grievance would entail factual aspects, liberty is granted to petitioners to file fresh representation before the opposite party no.3 to decide petitioners' representation within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority in the light of the judgment rendered in the case of Gaya Prasad (supra) in case the same is applicable. If petitioners are entitled for the aforesaid benefits, actual payment thereof shall be ensured along with interest within a period six weeks thereafter. 5. With aforesaid observations and directions, this petition is disposed of.
