Chauhan, learned counsel for the petitioner, who has approached this Court with the complaint that the Ejahar which was sought to be lodged on 12.05.2025 was not registered. This Court vide order dated 18.06.2025 had directed the learned State Counsel to obtain instructions and further time was granted on 25.06.2025 directing the matter to be listed again. When this matter has been listed today, Shri N. Das, the learned State Counsel has submitted that an entire wrong projection has been made in the writ petition. By placing the written instruction dated 23.06.2025 before this Court, the learned State Counsel has submitted that not only the case was registered as Mayong P.S. Case No. 74/2025 u/s-118(1)/296/329(4)/3(5) BNS, the investigation has also been done and charge sheet laid before the appropriate Court on 22.06.2025. It clearly appears that the petitioner has abused the process of this Court by filing this petition. In view of the above, the petition is dismissed with a cost of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) only to be paid to the Gauhati High Court Bar Association Welfare Fund.
