Counsel for respondents No.1 and 2-State has placed on record a copy of order dated 18.03.2026, whereby the petitioner was promoted to the post of Manager (Information Technology) in Level-12 of pay matrix as per HPCS (Reivsed Pay)) Rules, 2022 w.e.f. 31.03.2025 (Date of Retirement) purely on notional basis. 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2. Keeping in view the fact that the Recruitment & Promotion (R&P) Rules were adopted on 28.07.2025 (Annexure R2/II) and the relief clause of the judgment dated 28.05.2025, passed in CWPOA No.6072 of 2020, titled Surinder Kumar Sharma Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Others, which is sought to be executed, we are of the considered opinion that the matter has now been rendered infructuous. 4. In view the above, counsel for the petitioner withdraws the present execution petition with liberty to take recourse to his remedy as available in accordance with the law. 5.
