There is some dispute between the petitioner and the opposite party No.2, who is a private party. Against the aforesaid background, the following main relief has been sought:- "Issue Writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby ordering the public administration through the Commissioner of Police, Lucknow to ensure that the emergency exit iron channel gate at the entrance of the staircase be opened with immediate effect and that it should remain open to avert any unforeseen exigency in future." Writ Petition is not a remedy in such matters, which is essentially a private dispute. The petitioner should avail other remedies as may be prescribed in law. The Writ Petition stands disposed of.
