Borthakur, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. U. Das, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate appearing on behalf of all the respondents. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of two vehicle namely one Gypsy bearing Registration No. AS-01-BD-8099 and one Tavera bearing Registration No. ML-10-6199 The further case of the petitioner is that the Commissioner of Police, Guwahati/respondent No. 3 hired the two vehicles of the petitioner from 19.07.2014 to 31.12.2022 for maintenance of law and order duty under the Provisions of Assam Requisition and Control of Vehicles Act, 1968. The petitioner, accordingly, submitted the bill before the respondent No. 3 through the Office of the Motor Transport Officer, Police Reserve, Guwahati for payment of hiring charges amounting to Rs.38,68,285/-. Thereafter, the respondent No. 3 paid an amount of Rs.15,58,821/- to the petitioner, however, there is still an outstanding bill of Rs.23,09,464/- to be paid to the petitioner. As the said outstanding dues is yet to be paid to the petitioner, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present writ petition. 3. The respondent No. 3 has filed affidavit-in-opposition and in the said affidavit, the respondent No. 3 admitted the outstanding dues amounting to Rs.23,09,464/- at Paragraph Nos. 6 & 7. 4. Considering the averments made in Paragraph Nos. 6 & 7 of the affidavit- in-opposition, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 3 to Page No.# 3/3 pay the admitted outstanding dues of Rs.23,09,464/- to the petitioner within a period of 4 (four) months from the date of receipt of a certified true copy of this order. 5.
