The petitioner seeks disposal of an application addressed to the Principal Secretary, Home, Government of U.P., Lucknow. However, what we find in the said application is that some request to the Officer has been made to take cognizance of the crime being committed by a Journalist and constitute a high level investigating team in the matter. On being asked as to whether any criminal action has been initiated in the form of lodging of an F.I.R., or filing a complaint, Counsel for the petitioner informs that he has not. The petitioner may pursue the matter with the authorities, as far as, it may be permissible or avail other remedies, as may be prescribed in law. The writ petition is not maintainable for disposal of representation. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
