CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : None For the State : Mr.Abhay Kr.Tiwari, Advocate ----- 06/24.04.2025: No one has appears on behalf of the petitioner. 2. It appears that the present writ petition was earlier dismissed for non-prosecution on 03.4.2023. Thereafter, it was restored vide order dated 31.1.2025 passed in Cr.M.P. No. 2948 of 2023. 3. Today when the case is called out, again no one has appeared to press this writ petition. 4. The petitioner in this writ petition has prayed for direction upon the respondents to lodge an FIR before Ratu Police Station and further prays to take action against respondent nos. 5 to 10 as they are trying to grab his land and are threatening him. It is further stated that he has approached the appropriate authority but his grievance has not been redressed. 5. If a cognizable offence is made out, the police is bound to register an FIR and if the same is not registered, there are several remedies to the petitioner under BNSS. From the petition I do not find any material to suggest that the petitioner has availed such alternative remedies. He directly approached this court by filing an application under Article 226 of 2025:JHHC:12323 the Constitution on the criminal side. 6. Since there are remedies available to the petitioner, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Hence, the same is dismissed. (ANANDA SEN, J. ) KNR/
