GP FOR COOPERATION The Court made the following Order: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “…..to issue an appropriate Writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 1st Respondent in not releasing the arrears of salary and retirement benefits including Gratuity, Provident Fund and leave encashment allowance, etc, totally amounting to Rs.5,81,404/- as being illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the Respondent Nos.3 & 4 to pay the said amount of Rs.5,81,404/- together with interest @ 18% P.A, to the Petitioner….” 2 2. On an earlier occasion i.e., on 25.02.2025, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the matter was directed to be listed on 04.03.2025, under the caption „for dismissal‟. But, due to change of roster, the matter was re-opened and listed before this Court on 06.03.2025. 3. This Court, vide order, dated 06.03.2025 has passed the following docket order: “None appeared for the petitioner. On earlier occasion also none appears for the petitioner. Counters are filed. Post on 13.03.2025. No further time will be granted.” 4. Although this matter was posted with the condition that “no further time will be granted”, when the matter was called for hearing today, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner either personally or through advocate. It seems that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the case. 5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Cooperation, for the respondents, is present. 6. Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
