GP FOR HIGHER EDUCATION (AP) The court made the following ORDER:- The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following main relief:- “……declaring proceedings dt. 18.04.2016 and proceedings dt. 10-05-2016 issued by the first respondent as illegal, arbitrary, invalid being violative of the provisions of Section 79 (2) and clauses (a) and (b) of sub section (3) of Section 79 of the A.P.Education Act and set aside the same and consequentially direct the first respondent to restore the petitioner into service as Head of Section, EEE Department w.e.f.10-07- 2016 with all benefits including payment of full salary and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.……” 2. Heard Sri K. Srinivas, learned counsel representing the learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Y. Sitharam, learned counsel representing Sri C.Venkaiah, learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent College and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Higher Education. 3 3. The instant writ petition is filed challenging the suspension proceedings issued against the petitioner by the respondents and for a consequential direction to the 1st respondent to restore the petitioner into service. 4. At the time of considering the matter, the learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent placed a copy of proceedings dated 11.08.2025 issued by the Principal, C.R.Reddy Polytechnic, Eluru., before this Court and submits that the petitioner was initially suspended on 11.05.2016 and after the due enquiry conducted by the respondents, the petitioner’s suspension proceedings was revoked and he was reinstated into service from 28.16.2016 onwards. He also submits that the 1st respondent college authorities paid the total salary amount of Rs.2,28,348/- from April, 2016 to November, 2016 to the petitioner. A copy of the said proceedings is served to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, after going through the copy of proceedings dated 11.08.2025, submits that the matter may be disposed of, in terms of the same. 6. Considering the submissions made by the respective counsel and in view of the fact that the petitioner was re-employed into service with total salary payment of Rs.2,28,348/-, the writ petition is disposed of by making the proceedings dated 11.08.2025 as part of record. 4 There shall be no order as to costs.
