Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:24104 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 4609 of 2025 Petitioner :- Om Shree Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Irrigation Deptt. Lko. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Suresh Sharma Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. Learned Standing Counsel submits that after 31.07.1996, no cause of action has occurred to the petitioner although the petitioner alleges that she kept on giving representations to the authorities regarding the prayer made in this petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner though has opposed this contention and has submitted that cause of action indeed occurred however, from the record he is unable to show that after 31.07.1996 any cause of action has occurred to the petitioner. In view of above, this Court is of the view that the writ petition is highly time barred and extraordinary delay and laches have also not been explained accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
