------ For the Petitioner : Mr. Soumitra Baroi, Advocate For the State : Mr. Jitendra Pandey, A.P.P.

Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 399/2024 arising out of Nawa Bazar P.S. Case No. 14/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 302 & 201 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-III, Palamau.
3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 9105/2024 by order dated 12.12.2024.
4. On 22.03.2024, mutilated dead body of a lady was recovered near Ajania Ahra. During the course of investigation, it transpired that the petitioner was having illicit relationship with the deceased. It further transpired that mobile phone of the deceased was recovered from possession of this petitioner.
5. Report regarding the stage of trial and time required for its conclusion, earlier called for from the learned Trial Court, has been received. It appears that out of 6 charge-sheeted witnesses, only 2 witnesses have been examined yet. It further appears that trial is likely to be concluded within six months.
6. Considering the nature of allegation and the fact that trial is likely to be concluded, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected once again.
7. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within six months from the next date fixed for recording of evidence, failing which, petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail.
