Side) For R2 : Mr.M.Senthil Ayyanar Government Advocate O R D E R This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents no.1 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2025 and to direct the Tahsildar, who is the 2nd respondent or the petitioner and his men to conduct the Temple Festival, namely, Dharma Muniswarar Temple and other village deities of Nanamadai Village from 09.05.2025 to 11.05.2025 along with schedule caste community people of Nanamadai village jointly. 2. According to the petitioner, he is a resident of Nanamadai village and he belongs to udaiyar community. In the Nanamadai village the udaiyar community people and the scheduled caste community people are living peacefully except the issue related to the Temple, namely, Dharma Muneeswaran Temple. Now they have decided to conduct Temple Festival of Dharma Muniswarar Temple from 09.05.2025 to 11.05.2025 along with schedule caste community people of Nanamadai village _____________ Page No. 2 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD) No.12657 of 2025 jointly. Therefore, he sent a representation dated 14.03.2025 for grant of permission, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that they received the representation of the petitioner and already the same was considered by the 3rd respondent and forwarded to the 2nd respondent for conduct of Peace Committee Meeting. 4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the 4th respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner is pending for conduct of Peace Committee Meeting. 5. Since the petitioner's representation was already considered by the 3rd respondent and the same was forwarded to the 2nd respondent for conduct of Peace Committee Meeting and the same is pending, the 2nd respondent shall fix a particular date for conduct of Peace Committee Meeting within a period of one week i.e. on or before 05.05.2025 and the petitioner is at liberty to approach the 2nd respondent.
