No.1 situated at Honnavalli Village, Playa Hobli, Alur Taluk. Alleging inaction on the part of the respondents, this writ petition is filed. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:7713 WP No. 1464 of 2025 2. The learned High Court Government Pleader (HCGP) submits that the petitioner’s application has been duly processed by the Local Authorities. However, due to the absence of a duly constituted Land Grant Committee, the application has not yet been considered. 3. The learned HCGP further assures this Court that the Government is actively working on constituting the Committee. Once the Committee is formally established, the petitioner’s application will be considered in accordance with the law. 4. Recording his assurance, this Court proceeds to pass the following; ORDER (i) The writ petition is allowed. (ii) The petitioner’s application shall be considered by the Committee after it is duly constituted by the State. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:7713 WP No. 1464 of 2025 (iii) If such Committee is constituted, the Committee shall ensure that the petitioner’s application is processed and decide within an outer limit of four months thereafter.
