The limited prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious consideration of his objections filed on 17.03.2025 against the provisional assessment notice dated 11.03.2025. Once the petitioner has filed his objections against the provisional assessment notice dated 11.03.2025, there is no reason as to why the same be not considered and decided expeditiously by passing a reasoned and speaking order by the competent authority. We, accordingly, direct the competent authority to decide the pending objections filed by the petitioner on 17.03.2025 by passing a reasoned order. 3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner has also submitted that on deposit some amount for compounding of the offence, the electricity connection was restored with the assessment proceedings being left open. In case, the electricity connection was restored on deposit of some compounding fee, the same shall abide by the outcome of the objections as directed to be considered and decided in terms of this order. 4.
