Petitioner is a former Vice-President of opposite party no.3- Board who had earlier filed a writ petition bearing Writ-C No.1548 of 2025 for nomination of a President has now come to Court informing that tenure of the Board has expired on 28.04.2025 and under Section 14 of the United Provinces [Indian Medicine] Act, 1939, such term can be extended by the State Government by a notification in the official gazette subject to the condition that total extension does not in the aggregate exceed two years. He says that no extension has been granted earlier. A resolution has been passed by opposite party no.3-Board on 01.04.2025 which is still pending consideration before opposite party no.1. It is also his submission that either term can be extended or fresh elections have to be held. We have perused Section 9, 10 and 10A in this regard. 3. Let opposite party no.1 take a decision on the resolution of opposite party no.3 dated 01.04.2025 regarding extension of the term of the Board, within four weeks. 4.
