W.P(MD)No.13159 of 2025 2.The contention of the petitioner is that the land belongs to the petitioner. The said claim of the petitioner is also confirmed by the fourth respondent/Tahsildar stating that the land belongs to the petitioner. However, the State Highway authority arrayed as sixth and seventh respondents claiming that the said land belong to the State Highways.
3.In order to resolve the claim, the first respondent/District Collector is
directed to conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 6 and 7 and also verify the revenue documents. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
