Order on Board 21.03.2025 By means of this petition the petitioner has sought the indulgence of this Court for a direction to the learned Special Judge (NDPS) Bilaspur, District Bilaspur (CG) in Special Sessions Case (NDPS) No. 21/2020 which is pending since 21.03.2020 and only 4
2 prosecution witnesses have been examined out of 19 witnesses. Hence the present petition has been filed by the petitioner.

Facts of the case in brief is that on 03.12.2019, police of police station Civil Lines, Bilaspur received a secret information that the appellant along with two other accused persons are selling psychotropic drugs from their house. On the basis of said information police conducted raid and taken into custody. The police seized Maxcoff Codeine Phosphate syrup bottles Rexogesic injections, Dispovan and Syringes, cash of Rs. 2426,50/- and Rs. 1922.50/- from the accused persons and they were arrested.
3. Contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that the case is pending since two years and out of 19 witnesses only 4 witnesses have been examined. The petitioner has been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 20.01.2020 and he is in jail in another Crime No. 994/2024 for which he has filed bail application and it was rejected on the ground that there are some more cases of NDPS registered against the petitioner.
4. Heard counsel for the petitioner and perused the documents.
5. Taking into consideration the submission of the counsel for the petitioner, it is directed that to the trial court to decide the present case expeditiously if there is no legal impediment. The petition is accordingly disposed of. Sd/- (Arvind Kumar Verma) Judge
