By means of the instant petition, the petitioners seek the following reliefs:- (A) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari to quash/ set-aside the order dated 26.09.2024 by respondents, whereby the respondents have rejected the Application of the applicants who have completed D.El.Ed through NIOS for the Post of Assistant Teacher Primary in their respective districts. (B) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioners, for the post of Assistant Teacher Primary in pursuant to the advertisement dated 10.06.2024, at par with the candidates having 2 year D.El.Ed, (C) Issue any other order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of present case. (D) To allow the writ petition and award the cost of it in favour of the petitioner. Heard. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the matter is squarely covered by the judgment dated 29.04.2025, passed by this Court in WPSS No.91 of 2025, Lalit Mohan Arya Vs. State of Uttarakhand and Others, and connected cases. Learned State Counsel admits this fact.
