The Court made the following:
JUDGMENT: (per Hon’ble The Chief Justice Sri G. Narendar)
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State. 2) Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, on instructions, would submit that what actually requires to be done is construction of a bridge as the river is running between the two roads, and the river requires to be bridged,
2025:UHC:4991-DB 2 and the same would automatically connect the roads of both the banks. That the DPR is at an advance stage, and that the plan has been prepared by the competent authority and has also been approved by the competent authority, and it is a matter of time before the DPR is released. 3) In that view of the matter, the submission of learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel is placed on record. 4) Writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to ensure commencement of the construction / road laying work within an outer limit of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 5) The writ petition stands ordered accordingly. 6) There shall be no order as to costs. 7) As a sequel thereto, pending application, if any, shall stand closed.
