Petitioner wants electricity connection. 3. Counsel for the Electricity Corporation says that the transformer is about 500 meters from the house of the petitioner. In order to give a connection, lines would have to be drawn about 250 meters, that too, in a jig-jag manner as they cannot be extended above the existing houses of the persons. The estimate of the expenses to be incurred can be provided to the petitioner and if she completes the formalities, then, electricity connection can be given to the petitioner. Counsel for the petitioner says that petitioner is agreeable for the same. 4. Let the estimate be provided to the petitioner within 15 days whereupon the petitioner shall do the needful and thereafter if all the formalities are completed, the connection shall be granted unless there is any other legal impediment. If there is any deficiency on the part of the petitioner in completing the formalities, she shall be informed in writing about the same instead of merely keeping the matter pending. Let this exercise be completed at the earliest. 5. The writ petition is disposed of.
