2. The Enquiry Officer/Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli Rural Sub-division filed a report stating that the present Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed with some ulterior motives to extract money by advocates. Paragraph 6 of the report revealed that advocates demanded compensation to their client. Since the company refused to accept the claim of the advocates they told that they would recourse to take legal remedy through Court of law. There is no nexus between the petitioner herein and the advocates. It is pertinent to note that the work of erection of electric poles has already been completed by TANGEDCO. This being the factum, the present writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
