Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sisai P.S. Case No. 127 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 27(b)(ii) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and section 21/21(c)/22(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla. 3. Petitioner happens to be the owner of the Alto Car bearing registration no. OR 14L 0822. Huge quantity of Onrex cough syrup was recovered from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner has become a victim of circumstance as the driver of the said vehicle was transporting the seized contraband without the permission of the petitioner. 5. Learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner is accused in other cases. 6.
