Order 07/04/2025
1. Heard.
2. This contempt petition is misconceived
3. Without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court had
disposed of the petition with the direction to the Government to take appropriate decision in the matter, if not already taken, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months.
4. The State Government has passed the order dated 13.01.2025 and taken particular view in the matter. Irrespective of whether that is correct or not, it does not amount to contempt.
[2025:RJ-JP:15406-DB] (2 of 2) [CCP-308/2025]
5. The submission that appropriate decision means the decision which should favour the case of the petitioner is misplaced.
6. Accordingly, the contempt petition is misconceived and the same is dismissed with liberty to challenge the order of the State Government.
