By way of instant contempt petition, prayer has been made on behalf of the petitioner for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for their having intentionally and deliberately disobeyed the mandate contained in judgment alleged to have been violated, wherein direction came to be issued to the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks. Since needful never came to be done within the stipulated time, petitioner approached this Court in the instant proceedings.

Before notice, if any, could be issued to the respondents, Mr. Rahul Thakur, learned counsel representing the respondents has placed on record office order dated 2.6.2025, perusal whereof of reveals that respondents after having considered the case of the

2 petitioner in terms of the mandate contained in the judgment alleged to have been violated, has decided to enhance the DA/IR from due date and same shall be paid within a period of seven days.

Consequently, in view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings and accordingly same are closed, with a direction to the respondents to ensure that amount as agreed to be paid within a period of seven days, shall be positively paid within stipulated time, failing which, petitioner would be at liberty to get the present proceedings revived, so that appropriate action in accordance with law is taken against the erring officials. Notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged accordingly.
