Mr. Lalit Samant, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Mahendra Singh Bisht, Brief Holder for the State. By means of the instant petition, the petitioner claims the amount of work that was done by him. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. It is the case of the petitioner that the respondent authorities entered into a contract with the petitioner for some wall construction. The petitioner started the work on 14.07.2017 and completed on 13.08.2020. But, he has not been paid the amount of work. The petitioner has claimed Rs.8,05,645/- as the amount of the work with interest. Learned State Counsel was required to get instructions. Today, learned State counsel place for perusal of the Court the written instructions. Let it be placed on record. According to which, as per contract, the petitioner is to be paid Rs. 7,97,299/- and this payment shall be made to him by the month of July, 2025. Although, the petitioner has claimed a different amount, but during the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the amount of work done is Rs.7,97,299/-, as has been stated in the instructions of the respondent department, which is also mentioned in Annexure No.1 of the counter affidavit. Learned State Counsel would submit that the amount shall be paid by the month of July, 2025. Since, the claim of the petitioner is admitted by the respondents, the respondents are directed to make the payment by the month of July, 2025, as agreed by them along with the interest @ 6% per annum. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
