Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:24950 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 4743 of 2025 Petitioner :- Mohini Rajvanshi Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Addl. Chief Secy. Bal Vikas Evam Pushtahar Deptt. Lko. And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Anupam Rastogi Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the respondent nos. 1 to 6. 2. Through this petition the petitioner has prayed for the following relief:- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the merit list dated 12.03.2025 of Aganbadi worker of -village Rajapur Pratap, Block Machhreta, Tehsil Mishrikh, District Sitapur, after summoning the same, in the interest of justice Annexure no.1. (ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to the opposite party no. - 4 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 08.04.2025 within stipulated time as may deemed First Information Report and proper by the Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice. (iii) Issue any, order or direction in favour of the petitioner, as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case to meet the ends of justice. (iv) Award costs of this petition to the petitioner" 3. Learned Standing counsel, on the basis of the written instructions, which is taken on record, has submitted that the petitioner is a scheduled caste candidate. The seat in question is to be filled up amongst the EWS candidate of the general category. He further submitted that due to the reservation of the Anganwadi Center Rajpur Pratap being EWS, Ms. Mohini Rajvanshi, the petitioner, who belongs to the Scheduled Caste category, could not be selected for the post in question. 4. Admittedly, the petitioner could not show any document to establish her case that she comes under the EWS category. 5. Considering the above and perusal of the instructions it appears that the petitioner is neither EWS nor of the general category candidate and, therefore, she has not been selected. There appears to be no illegality in the selection. Also the petitioner has not impleaded the selected candidate as a party. 6. In view of the above, the writ petition lacks merit and is accordingly dismissed.
