Petitioner has laid challenge to his transfer as Panchayat Secretary from Gram Panchayat Bhated, Block Nagrota Surian, District Kangra to Gram Panchayat Bilaspur, Block Nagrota Surian, District Kangra, ordered on 23.05.2023. The order has been impugned on the grounds 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 that the same has been issued on the basis of a D.O. note and after a short span of the petitioner at his present place of posting, i.e. without letting him complete his normal tenure. 3. Learned vice counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 13.07.2023 passed in this writ petition, the petitioner has continued to serve at Gram Panchayat Bhated. Learned vice counsel further submits that with the efflux of time, the petitioner has since completed his normal tenure at the aforesaid place and the writ petition, in these circumstances, has been rendered infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
