Sri Avnish Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the Lucknow Development Authority informs that the land in question was acquired way back in the year 2012 with the issuance of notification under Section 4/16 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 dated 25.07.2012 and under Section 6/16 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 dated 02.09.2013. He also informs that an award has also been rendered in relation to the land in question on 08.09.2015 and possession certificate was also issued on 30.01.2019. The instructions are taken on record. All these aspects of the matter have not been disclosed in the writ petition. A copy of the notification as well as the award has been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioners. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to avail appropriate remedy against the notification/award or approach the competent authority for receipt of the compensation.
