"It is therefore, most humbly prayed that your Lordship may graciously be pleased to accept and allow this writ petition and quash and set aside the order dated 28.10.2009 (Annex.-6) and respondents be directed to give the appointment to the petitioner under the dependents of permanent war disabled/deceased army personnel scheme. Any other order which this Hon'ble Court deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be passed in favour of the petitioner."
2. Heard and considered the arguments made by the learned counsel for the parties and perused the material placed before this Court.

[2025:RJ-JP:11074] (2 of 2) [CW-3136/2012] has flown. Moreover, no sincere efforts were taken by the counsel representing the petitioner to contest the present petition.
4. On facts, it can be noted that the petitioner is praying for appointment on compensatory basis in place of the petitioner's father vis-a-vis the battle casualty wherein the petitioner's father was certified to be 90% permanently disabled. However, at this nascent juncture after a lapse of approx. 13 years, the said prayer cannot be complied with.
5. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed. Pending applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.
