Cont. P. No.265 of 2025 Court has permitted the Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Government of Puducherry, to inform this Court by way of an affidavit. Probably the Hon'ble Supreme Court was not appraised of the fact that the Government Officials in Puducherry are in the habit of filing affidavits with incorrect information and wrong statements and blaming the Government Pleaders for such statements being made. Therefore, we are not inclined to go by the affidavit filed by Mr.R.Kesavan, I.A.S..
2. However, accepting the statement of Mr.Ar.L.Sundarasan, learned Additional Solicitor General, in his personal capacity as a Senior Counsel of some stature, we close this contempt proceedings. Hence, the Contempt Petition is closed.
