His services were terminated by the Management of the concerned college on 8.10.2018. Petitioner challenged his termination by filing a writ petition, which was allowed and in deference to the order passed by this Court, petitioner was reinstated in service. Since salary payable to the petitioner between the date of his termination and date of his reinstatement has not been released to him, therefore, petitioner has approached this Court claiming arrears of salary for the said period. (3) On the last date of hearing, learned State Counsel sought time to get instructions. Today, on instructions, he submits that matter of release of arrears of salary for the aforesaid period is pending consideration before the State Government. He assures that decision will be taken at an early date. 2025:UHC:6067-DB (4) We, accordingly, dispose of the writ petition with a direction to Secretary, Higher Education to take decision regarding release of arrears of salary for the aforesaid period to the petitioner within ten weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
