Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:24634 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 4354 of 2025 Petitioner :- Smt. Meera Devi Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Deptt. Of Bal Vikas Seva And Pushtahar And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Mohammad Moqueem Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. In view of the proposed order being passed, notices to respondent Nos.5 and 6 are dispensed with. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos.1 to 4. Learned standing counsel on the basis of written instructions has submitted that the petitioner while filling up her application form has not made any mention regarding her disability and, therefore, the disability could not be shown in the broad sheet accordingly, during the selection the disability of the petitioner could not be verified and accordingly, she could not be given the benefit of disability. Perused the record. A perusal of the application form filled up by the petitioner which is on record as annexure No.2, it is evident that the petitioner has not filled up her disability details in the application form thus, she cannot be considered for selection on this ground and accordingly, respondent No.5 who appears to have secured higher merit than the petitioner has been selected. In view of above, this Court does not find any illegality in the selection process, the petitioner is herself to blame for not disclosing her disability credentials in the application form filled up by her no one else is to blame hence, the petition being devoid of merits is accordingly dismissed.
