JUSTICE MICHAEL ZOTHANKHUMA ORDER Date : 11-06-2025 Mr. K Mira, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has requested for installation of a transformer at Saidpur Part-I of Cachar district and in this regard a representation dated 17.05.2025 has been submitted. 2. Mr. B Choudhury, learned counsel for the APDCL submits that the Sub- Divisional Engineer, Silchar Electrical Sub-Division-II, APDCL, CAR, Silchar has written letter No. SESD-II/T-21/2025-26/119 dated 10.06.2025 to the CEO, Cachar Electrical Circle, APDCL (CAR), Silchar, Assam, which is to the following effect:- “Sub: Status report on Writ Petition (C) No. of 2025 in The Gauhati High Court Sir, With reference to the above, I would like to inform you that for redressal of low voltage issue in the region mentioned in the aforementioned writ petition, construction of 11 kV spur line and installation of a new 100 kVA DTR is being carried out under HVDS scheme by M/s Laser Power Infra Pvt Ltd scheme and as informed by the TKC, the pending works should be completed by the end of this month. After successful completion of the pending works, the DTR will be ready for charging. This for your information and necessary action.” 3. Mr. B Choudhury, learned counsel for the APDCL submits that as per instructions received by him, the installation of the transformer would be complete by the end of this month. Page No.# 3/3 4. The letter dated 10.06.2025 issued by the Sub-Divisional Engineer, Silchar Electrical Sub-Division-II, APDCL, CAR, Silchar, is made a part of the record and marked as Annexure-X. 5. In view of Annexure-X and the submissions made by Mr. B Choudhury, learned counsel for the APDCL, the writ petition stands closed, inasmuch as, there is nothing to adjudicate in the writ petition.
