By this petition, the petitioner herein has alleged non-compliance of the order passed by this Court on 13.04.2015, in SWP No. 1037/2015 titled “Mansa Ram Chowdhary vs. State and Ors”. The relevant extract of the order dated 13.04.2015 is set out below: - “This petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents that they shall simultaneously at their respective levels initiate the process for settling the claim of the petitioner for release of retiral benefits, as shall be allowable in accordance with the applicable rules and to finalize the process and to take final decision thereon within a period of six weeks. Result of such accord of consideration, whatever permissible under rules, shall be conveyed to the petitioner. Right is reserved to the petitioner to re-agitate thereafter if any cause survives.” 2. The instant contempt petition was preferred by the petitioner in the year 2016. This Court is of the view, that either the grievance of the petitioner Sr. No. 14 2 has been redressed or the petitioner has lost interest to pursue the instant contempt petition. 3. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the instant contempt petition pending. Accordingly, the proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed, however, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach this Court to seek revival of the same, if the order dated 13.04.2015 has not been implemented by the respondents.
