Heard learned counsel for the applicants. 2. The instant contempt application has been filed by the applicants alleging disobedience of the order dated 18.02.2025 passed by this Court in Matters under Article 227 No. 833 of 2025. 3. Learned counsel for the applicants submits that the Case No. 202454106442030288 u/s 109-A(1) of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, Rules was decided by Consolidation Officer, thereafter, parvana was sent to the Tehsildar concerned for entering it into revenue record in the January, 2025, but the same was not executed, then the petition i.e. Matters under Article 227 No. 833 of 2025 was filed before this Court, which was disposed of on 18.02.2025 with the direction to the Tehsildar, Tehsil- Mahmoodabad, District- Sitapur to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously. He also submits that the aforesaid order was served to the Tehsildar on 01.03.2025. 4. It is evident that normal interpretation of 'expeditious' word is given by this Court in several judgements as the matter should be decided within a period of three months. However, the present contempt application is filed without waiting for expiry of the said period. 5. In view of above, the contempt application is disposed of with liberty to the applicant to move fresh application before the Tehsildar concerned for necessary compliance of the order dated 18.02.2025.
