The present petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayer :- "(i). To direct the opposite party no. 1, Civil Judge Haveli (JD), Faizabad to decide the Original Civil Suit No. 1218/2020, under Order 7 Rule 1 CPC, titled as Atiya Parveen and another Vs. Mohd. Aftab and another, which is pending before the opposite party no. 1 within a stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice." 3. It is argued by the counsel for the petitioner that the opposite parties are not appearing despite service. 4. In view of the said statement, the present petition is disposed of directing the Civil Judge to decide the pending case expeditiously without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the party. In case the defendants are not appearing, the court concerned would be at liberty to proceed exparte in accordance with law.
