Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the respondents. "it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party no. 2 i.e. Superintending Engineer, Ayodhya/Ambedkar Nagar Circle Public Works Department Ayodhya and opposite party no. 4 namely Executive Engineer Vidyut Yantrik Khand Public Works Department Ayodhya to decide the representation dated 16.10.2024 preferred by petitioner for converting medical leave is to earned leave from the period of 18.4.2023 to 7.6.2023." After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's grievance would be adequately addressed if the respondents are directed to decide his pending representation, contained in Annexure No. 1 to the petition, within a stipulated period. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to this innocuous prayer. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from today. Upon submission, the respondents shall consider and decide the said representation within a further period of four weeks, by passing a reasoned and speaking order. With these observations, the petition stands disposed of. Order Date :- 22.4.2025 R.C. Digitally signed by :- RAM CHANDER YADAV High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
