The Insurance Ombudsman has closed the complaint of the petitioner on the ground that the complainant i.e. the petitioner had filed a complaint before the High Court. This closure is dated 04.03.2020 and annexed as Annexure No.8 to the Writ Petition. However, we find that this Writ Petition has been filed on 20.11.2020 i.e. subsequently. In para 16 of the Writ Petition, the petitioner has averred that the information referred in the order dated 04.03.2020 by the Insurance Ombudsman is incorrect. Let the petitioner apprise the Insurance Ombudsman about the aforesaid fact being incorrect, whereupon the Insurance Ombudsman shall revisit his order 04.03.2020 and if he finds that in fact there was no petition pending before the High Court at the behest of the petitioner on the date of passing of the order, then he shall proceed to decide the complaint of the petitioner as per law but expeditiously say within next two months, however, if he finds that there is any impediment, he shall inform the same to the petitioner in writing giving details thereof.
