The petitioner was appointed as a Notary in Tehsil Kotdwar, District Pauri Garhwal vide Certificate dated 02.02.2005 [Registration No.15(9)/2005] for a period of five years. Her Certificate of Practice as Notary was renewed from time to time. It was last renewed on 03.01.2020 w.e.f. 02.02.2020 for a period of five years i.e. till 02.02.2025. The petitioner has duly applied for renewal of her Certificate of Practice. She had deposited the prescribed fee and a Non-Judicial Stamp Paper. The District Judge, Pauri Garhwal forwarded the application of the petitioner with his recommendation for renewal of her Certificate of Practice for a period of five years from 02.02.2025. But, the respondent no.1 issued the impugned 2025:UHC:112 2 order dated 06.12.2024, where it is mentioned that the application for renewal of her Certificate of Practice is rejected and further requested to the District Judge, Pauri Garhwal for a fresh panel. 2. Heard Mr. Ashutosh Thakral, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. M.S. Bisht, learned Brief Holder for the respondent nos.1 to 3. 3. Mr. Ashutosh Thakral, Advocate submitted that the present matter is covered by the Order dated 16.08.2024, passed in WPMS No.764 of 2023 and Batch. 4. With the consent of learned counsel for both the parties, the present writ petition is decided in terms of the Order dated 16.08.2024, passed in WPMS No.764 of 2023 and Batch directing the State Government to re-consider the application filed by the petitioner for renewal of her Certificate of Practice as Notary, by passing a reasoned order and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks’ from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
