After arguing at some length and on being confronted with certain facts, especially the fact that the work order dated 12.03.2025 was served upon the petitioner on 20.03.2025 and impugned order cancelling the contract has been passed on 09.04.2025, which was not preceded by any notice and the fact that the Nagar Nigam is an instrumentality of State and a statutory body, the parties Counsel reconciled that within three days from today the Nagar Nigam shall give a notice to the petitioner proposing cancellation of contract on their WhatsApp and Email, whereupon the petitioner shall submit a response within the next five days. Thereafter, the opposite parties shall take an afresh decision in the matter, as per law. 3. In view of the aforesaid arrangement/ agreement, the impugned order is hereby quashed, subject to aforesaid. 4. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. (Om Prakash Shukla, J.) (Rajan Roy, J.)
