Learned Chief Standing Counsel, Ms. Deepshikha, on the basis of written instructions, submits that in compliance of the order dated 20.12.2024 passed by this Court in Writ-A No. 12553 of 2024, Shiva vs. State of U.P. and Others, fresh order dated 24.04.2025 has been passed by the Inspector General of Police, who was holding the charge of DIG at the relevant time. The representation of the petitioner has accordingly been disposed of. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file a fresh petition challenging the order dated 24.04.2025 passed by the Inspector General of Police, the then DIG. 4. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition assailing the order dated 24.04.2025, if so advised.
