Heard Mr. H.A. Laskar, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr. P.N. Sharma, learned standing counsel for the respondent Nos. 1, 5 & 7; Mr. B. Deuri, learned standing counsel for the respondent Nos. 2, 3 & 4; and Ms. R.M. Barooah, learned standing counsel for the respondent No. 6. Mr. Deuri, upon written instructions of the respondent authorities, submits that the application of the petitioner will be processed as per the latest SOP issued by the Department of Personnel (B) Department, vide Memo No. ABP.107/2024/Pt/102, dated 30.08.2025. Mr. Laskar, on instructions, submits that since the matter is being processed by the respondent authorities, this writ petition may be closed.
