Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayer: "(i) Issue an order or direction specifically directing the learned Civil Judge Senior Division Lucknow (acting as Prescribed Authority under Section 21(1)(a) of the U.P. Act No. 13 of 1972) to hear and adjudicate the case P.A. No. 49 of 2011 (Aadeesh Kumar Jain & Anr. Vs. M/S Indian Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. & Anr) which are pending before him (whose order sheet are annexed as Annexure No. 3 to the present petition) within a stipulated time period, in the interest of justice." 3. In view of the directions given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Rajat Gaera Versus Tarun Rawat, 2025 Live Law SC 490, the present petition is disposed of directing the Prescribed Authority to decide the application within a period of six months without giving any unnecessary adjournment to either of the party. It is further provided that in case the petitioner wants, he can approach the respective authority by filing an appropriate application under the The Uttar Pradesh Regulation of Urban Premises Tenancy Act, 2021, if so advised, in accordance with law.
