1. The petitioner came forward with institution of present writ petition by reference to a direction given by the writ court in an
order dated 09.10.2023 whereby earlier writ petition WP(C) No. 2536/2023 came to be disposed of without adjudication on merits but directing it to be taken as a representation for consideration of the writ respondent No. 3 who was the District Development Commissioner, Reasi.
2. The directed consideration of the writ petition as a representation by said writ respondent No. 3 was to be done within a period of four weeks from the date of copy the order dated 09.10.2023 being made available. Serial No. 03 Regular List

3. In his said writ petition WP(C) No. 2536/2023, the petitioner had stated a claim for purported admitted liability amount for the work done allotted in the year 2017-18 against which pending liability of Rs. 28.00 lacs was claimed to be payable.
4. The petitioner has come now forward with the institution of present writ petition actually seeking mandamus unto the respondent No. 3-District Development Commissioner, Reasi to do the needful as directed in terms of an order dated 09.10.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 2536/2023.
5. From the end of the Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, reply/objection has been filed accompanied with a consideration
order No. DDCR/2025-26/315/10730-32 dated 20.12.2025 passed by the District Development Commissioner, Reasi whereby the petitioner’s claim having been considered stands rejected in toto.
6. Thus, the purpose of the present writ petition is rendered infructuous as the petitioner now needs to resort to appropriate legal course of action by reference to the consideration order above referred. Hence dismissed.
