The present petition has been filed for the following relief: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the opposite parties particularly opposite parties no 3 to renew the arm license no. 355/May/Sultanpur- Handgun 12 Bore of petitioner. (ii) To direct the opposite party no 3, to decide the Application for renewal of the arm license of petitioner filed by petitioner on dated 10.03.2025 (Annexure No.1) pending before opposite party no 3, expeditiously preferably within a stipulated period fixed by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice. " 3. Considering the relief as prayed for, the present petition is disposed of directing the Court concerned to decide the aforesaid application with all expedition, preferably within three months from today, in accordance with law.
