N CRIMINAL PETITION No.3451 OF 2025 ORDER: 1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were arraigned as A.2 and A.3 in Crime No.144 of 2024 of Nawabpet (II Town) Police Station, Sri Potti Srirammulu, Nellore District, registered for the alleged offences under Section 498-A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 3. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioners are the parents of A.1. The marriage of A.1 with the 2nd respondent was performed on 09.02.2023. On account of certain marital disputes, the 2nd respondent filed a complaint againsther husband and the petitioners. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioners seeks a direction to the police to follow the procedure provided under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 5. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Station House Officer, Nawabpet (II Town) Police Station, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District, is directed to follow the procedure as contemplated under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha -3- CRL.P. No.3451 OF 2025 Sanhita, 2023 insofar as the petitioners are concerned, for the purpose of investigation in connection with Crime No.144 of 2024. 6.
