ORAL ORDER The present petition is filed by the petitioner/wife seeking transfer of M.C.No.865/2024 filed by the respondent/husband pending on the file of the I Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Mysuru, to the file of the Family Court, Bengaluru.
2. The parties are referred to as husband and wife for the sake of convenience.
3. The facts of the case are that the marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 13.05.2019 at Chitradurga. It is the case of the wife that the husband had deserted her on 22.05.2022 and thereafter on 28.08.2024, he had filed M.C.No.865/2024 before the I Additional Judge, Family Court, Mysuru, seeking divorce. On 04.01.2025, the wife had appeared before the I Additional Judge, Family Court, Mysuru in M.C.No.865/2024.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the wife submits that wife is staying in Bangalore and the distance between both the places is about 150 kilometers and it is difficult for the wife to travel from Bangalore to Mysuru on each date of hearing.

5. Learned counsel appearing for the husband submits that he is unemployed and he is staying at Mysuru and traveling from Mysuru to Bangalore will cause a lot of hardship to the husband.
6. Having heard the learned counsels on either side, perused the entire material on record. Considering the fact that the distance between Bangalore and Mysuru is about 150 kilometers and wife is residing at Bangalore, considering the inconvenience that is caused to the wife, this Court deems it appropriate to pass the following order:
ORDER i. M.C.No.865/2024 filed by the respondent pending on the file of the I Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Mysuru, is withdrawn and the same is transferred to the file of the Family Court, Bengaluru. ii. Accordingly, the Civil Petition is allowed. iii. All I.As. in this Civil Petition shall stand closed.
