Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the respondents-State, who has raised a preliminary objections that against the order impugned dated 26.12.2024 passed in proceedings under Section 47-A of the Indian Stamp Act (as amended in the State of U.P.), the petitioner has adequate and statutory remedy of filing an stamp appeal under Section 56 of the Indian Stamp Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the statutory remedy of filing an appeal and submits that she may be permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to take recourse to the statutory remedy of filing an appeal before the appropriate authority. In view of the aforesaid, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.
