Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for respondent nos.2 and 3 and learned Standing Counsel for the State 2. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "1. A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2/3 to make the payment of retiral benefits to the petitioner along with up to date interest expeditiously within period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Learned counsel for respondent nos.2 and 3, on instructions, submits that total amount of retiral dues is quantified with Rs.18,15,462/- out of which Rs.5,00,000/- has been paid to the petitioner and remaining amount of Rs.13,15,462/- would be paid within a period of six months. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner has retired on 31.12.2023. 4. In view of submission made by learned counsel for respondent nos.2 and 3, let the remaining amount of Rs.13,15,462/- be paid to the petitioner within a period of six months along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum. 5.
